i’m Anna-Katherine, an artist from Santa Cruz, California. in my artwork, I like to make illustrations of sweet scenes that bring joy to the people who view them.
I am primarily focused on children’s picture book illustration, for which I have a graduate certificate from Hollins University. I also graduated from San Jose State University with a B.F.A. in pictorial Art.
I largely use traditional media (watercolors, gouache, pencil and ink), and digital where appropriate. I’m also practiced in printmaking; linocut, lithography, and screen-printing.
In addition to my children’s book illustration, I have painted murals for children’s facilities and designed merchandise, such as t-shirts and coffee cups.
